Roger David

Roger David is the creator of Punjabi rap. He is also known as Bohemia, Dada, The Punjabi rapper and Raja. He was born on October 15, 1979. He is Pakistani - American Punjabi Rapper. He released his first Album in 2002 "Vich Pardean da" who reached in top ten of BBC radio. The 2nd album is full collection of Punjabi Rap released with the name Paisa Nasha Payar along with Universal Music label in 2006. Bohemia songs reached in top downloaded songs from the YouTube and Indiansongs.pk. He was nominated in the PTC Punjabi Music awards as best Punjabi rapper and best Punjabi music composer. He wins that award. He also collaborates with the Bollywood cinema. Bohemia featured in movie Chandani Chowk to China for Warner bros with the appearing of Akshay Kumar and Depika Padukone.

He also released another song for Bollywood film industry with Akshay Kumar in movie 8 x 10 tasveer. The title track of movie hits the top songs and be the trendy song of the year. Initially he releases his songs without featuring but later he changed his mind and featured with many well-known singers; American, Srilankan, Pakistan and Indian singers are included. Honey Singh

Real name of Honey Singh is Hirdesh Singh.  He is Indian Punjabi rapper, music composer, Music producer, singer and also a good actor. He was born on March 15th 1983 at Hoshiapur. He belongs to a Sikh Punjabi family. He learns music from the Trinity school in United Kingdom. Singh started his career with album International Villager which was released in 11-11-11 (2011). Most liked and listened track from album is Gabru. The track also reached in top ten BBC Asian Charts. Singh has a craze for music from his childhood. He performed in many college events and festivals. Honey Singh stared his Bollywood career with debuting a song for the movie Shakal pa mat ja.  Honey Singh also did a song for movie Coctail “Angreji Beat “which is the track from his first album International Villager. Honey did rap in Hindi, Punjabi and English but he said “I like to rap in Hindi and Punjabi as compare to rap in English”.

Singh has also released some vocal songs in which the most liked is “Brown Rang” and “Break up Party”. He also featured in some other movies of Bollywood; Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Bajatey Raho and Fugly. .  Nowadays he is busy in promotion of Singh is Bling and Zorawar which will released this year and he has a leading role in them.

Raftaar

Raftaar is Indian Punjabi Rapper. Real name is Dillin Nair. He was born on 16 November in 1985. He primarily sings with Honey Singh in a group Mafia Mundeer which is formed by YO YO Honey singh but afterward the group splits.  He joined the RDB and starts producing the music for the Bollywood Cinema. Currently he is featuring with Manj Musik for his songs and for Bollywood movies too. His last released for Bollywood “Gabbar a jaiye ga” in the movie Gabbar. Raftaar was firstly introduced in the song “we doin it big”. Later he released 3 songs with the collaboration of RDB. Raftaar first solo song was WTF (Witness the Future) in 2013.  Raftaar used a line “Ab ye kar k dikhow” in Swag Mera Desi which is also used in Honey Singh song “Party with Bhootnath”. He said Dope Shope and Breakup Party were written by me but I never got any credit for that. Viewers of Raftaar songs are increasingly day by day on YouTube and Indiansongs.pk. Baadshah

Baadshah is Indian Hindi Punjabi rapper. His real name is Aditiya Singh. Baadshah is also introduced by Honey Singh in 2006. He is a well known Punjabi rapper but not much famous as the Honey Singh and bohemia are. He released several solo songs and he also released songs with the featuring of the several famous singers.  His last released for the Bollywood cinema was Selfie La re song in the movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
